# Libib vs Atoms

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Libib at none against Atoms's 2. Libib also leads on review sentiment (74% vs 56%). Atoms's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (11K vs 1.2K). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Atoms sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Libib asks for nothing beyond the download.

Atoms holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Atoms has 11K ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Libib's written reviews are positive against 56% of Atoms's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Libib ships an update fortnightly, Atoms every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
