# Libib vs CutterVault

The clearest difference is rating: Libib at 4.4 against CutterVault's 3.7. Libib also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). CutterVault's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CutterVault sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month. Libib asks for nothing beyond the download.

Libib holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Libib has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Libib's written reviews are positive against 80% of CutterVault's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Libib ships an update fortnightly, CutterVault every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
