# myMail box vs freemail

The clearest difference is rating: freemail at 5.0 against myMail box's 4.4. freemail also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). myMail box's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (18K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

freemail holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myMail box has 18K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

myMail box ships an update weekly, freemail every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
