# TerraExplorer vs Complete Flight

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TerraExplorer at 50% against Complete Flight's 0%. TerraExplorer also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). Complete Flight's advantage is rating (3.3 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Complete Flight holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Complete Flight has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of TerraExplorer's written reviews are positive against 0% of Complete Flight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TerraExplorer ships an update every 6 months, Complete Flight every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on June 24, 2026 and June 1, 2026 respectively.
