# iPoop vs Alpha Shows

The clearest difference is ratings volume: iPoop at 223 against Alpha Shows's 1. Alpha Shows's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iPoop sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Alpha Shows sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alpha Shows holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPoop has 223 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iPoop ships an update every 9 days, Alpha Shows weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
