# Pegasus vs BoB

The clearest difference is monetization model: BoB at free against Pegasus's free with in-app purchases. BoB also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.2). Pegasus's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BoB holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pegasus has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Pegasus's written reviews are positive against 40% of BoB's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
