# SurveyMonkey vs AARConnect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AARConnect at 100% against SurveyMonkey's 41%. AARConnect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). SurveyMonkey's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 4). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SurveyMonkey sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month. AARConnect asks for nothing beyond the download.

SurveyMonkey holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SurveyMonkey has 2.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of SurveyMonkey's written reviews are positive against 100% of AARConnect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SurveyMonkey ships an update every 2 months, AARConnect every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
