# SurveyMonkey vs HivePsyche

The clearest difference is update cadence: HivePsyche at every 6 days against SurveyMonkey's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SurveyMonkey sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month and HivePsyche sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SurveyMonkey ships an update every 2 months, HivePsyche every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
