# MyDialog vs Desh Sinhala Keyboard

MyDialog and Desh Sinhala Keyboard both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 91% of Desh Sinhala Keyboard's written reviews are positive against 23% of MyDialog's. Desh Sinhala Keyboard also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). MyDialog's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 131) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyDialog holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyDialog has 2.8K ratings behind it against 131, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of MyDialog's written reviews are positive against 91% of Desh Sinhala Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyDialog ships an update every 4 weeks, Desh Sinhala Keyboard every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
