# McAfee vs BacklogForge

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BacklogForge at none against McAfee's 12. BacklogForge also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). McAfee's advantage is ratings volume (240K vs 1) and chart position (#15 vs unranked). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. McAfee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. BacklogForge asks for nothing beyond the download.

BacklogForge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: McAfee has 240K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
