# GW Mailbox vs PerkNow

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PerkNow at none against GW Mailbox's 2. PerkNow also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). GW Mailbox's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 18) and rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GW Mailbox sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. PerkNow asks for nothing beyond the download.

GW Mailbox holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GW Mailbox has 2.2K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of GW Mailbox's written reviews are positive against 67% of PerkNow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GW Mailbox ships an update every 3 weeks, PerkNow every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
