# Fractio vs Construction Calculator

The clearest difference is rating: Construction Calculator at 4.7 against Fractio's 3.2. Construction Calculator also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (625 vs 11). Fractio's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and review sentiment (67% vs 54%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Construction Calculator sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Fractio asks for nothing beyond the download.

Construction Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Construction Calculator has 625 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Fractio's written reviews are positive against 54% of Construction Calculator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fractio ships an update every 9 months, Construction Calculator every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
