# SHAREit vs VPN Vault

SHAREit and VPN Vault both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of VPN Vault's written reviews are positive against 28% of SHAREit's. SHAREit's advantage is chart position (#81 vs unranked) and ratings volume (151K vs 29K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SHAREit sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and VPN Vault sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for SHAREit against 4.6 for VPN Vault. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SHAREit has 151K ratings behind it against 29K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 28% of SHAREit's written reviews are positive against 86% of VPN Vault's.

SHAREit ships an update fortnightly, VPN Vault every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
