# Omniplex Cinemas vs Thursday

The clearest difference is rating: Omniplex Cinemas at 5.0 against Thursday's 4.5. Omniplex Cinemas also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Thursday's advantage is ratings volume (413 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Omniplex Cinemas holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thursday has 413 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Omniplex Cinemas's written reviews are positive against 36% of Thursday's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Omniplex Cinemas ships an update every 2 months, Thursday fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
