# Mindown vs Drift

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Mindown at 13.0 against Drift's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindown sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Drift sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mindown ships an update every 2 months, Drift monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
