# Greater Giving vs Osmo Projector

The clearest difference is ads: Greater Giving at none against Osmo Projector's shown. Greater Giving also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Osmo Projector's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 13 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Osmo Projector holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Osmo Projector has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Greater Giving's written reviews are positive against 33% of Osmo Projector's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Greater Giving ships an update every 13 months, Osmo Projector every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
