# Flight Board Pro Plane Tracker vs Terminal Buddy

The clearest difference is price: Terminal Buddy at Free against Flight Board Pro Plane Tracker's $3.99. Terminal Buddy also leads on review sentiment (65% vs 56%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Flight Board Pro Plane Tracker's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 7 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Flight Board Pro Plane Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Terminal Buddy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Board Pro Plane Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Board Pro Plane Tracker has 2.2K ratings behind it against 127, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Flight Board Pro Plane Tracker's written reviews are positive against 65% of Terminal Buddy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flight Board Pro Plane Tracker ships an update weekly, Terminal Buddy every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
