# LuLuLoLo NotePad vs BG Color

The clearest difference is price: LuLuLoLo NotePad at Free against BG Color's $1.99. LuLuLoLo NotePad also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). BG Color's advantage is ratings volume (70 vs 3). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

LuLuLoLo NotePad is free to download; BG Color costs $1.99 up front. LuLuLoLo NotePad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BG Color sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LuLuLoLo NotePad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BG Color has 70 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of LuLuLoLo NotePad's written reviews are positive against 34% of BG Color's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
