# Brain points vs Sport Dots

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Brain points at 67% against Sport Dots's 9%. Brain points also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (48 vs 2). Sport Dots's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sport Dots sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 6 months. Brain points asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sport Dots holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brain points has 48 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Brain points's written reviews are positive against 9% of Sport Dots's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brain points ships an update every 19 months, Sport Dots every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
