# VRM E vs m News

The clearest difference is rating: m News at 5.0 against VRM E's 4.3. VRM E's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 42%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VRM E sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and m News sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

m News holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VRM E has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of VRM E's written reviews are positive against 42% of m News's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VRM E ships an update every 6 weeks, m News every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
