# VRM E vs FNP ePaper

The clearest difference is rating: FNP ePaper at 5.0 against VRM E's 4.3. FNP ePaper also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). VRM E's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 43%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VRM E sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and FNP ePaper sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FNP ePaper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of VRM E's written reviews are positive against 43% of FNP ePaper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VRM E ships an update every 6 weeks, FNP ePaper every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
