# Shyft vs Bacon Work On

The clearest difference is rating: Shyft at 4.8 against Bacon Work On's 4.4. Shyft also leads on ratings volume (31K vs 3.6K). Bacon Work On's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shyft holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shyft has 31K ratings behind it against 3.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Shyft's written reviews are positive against 37% of Bacon Work On's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shyft ships an update every 5 weeks, Bacon Work On fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
