# Shyft vs Bucketlist

The clearest difference is rating: Shyft at 4.8 against Bucketlist's 2.2. Shyft also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and ratings volume (31K vs 10). Bucketlist's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 35%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shyft holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shyft has 31K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Shyft's written reviews are positive against 52% of Bucketlist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shyft ships an update every 5 weeks, Bucketlist every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
