# STN MOBILE vs IEI

The clearest difference is update cadence: IEI at every 5 days against STN MOBILE's every 3 months. IEI also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). STN MOBILE's advantage is ratings volume (8.9K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IEI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: STN MOBILE has 8.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

STN MOBILE ships an update every 3 months, IEI every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
