# ProCam vs Pro Camera

The clearest difference is price: Pro Camera at Free against ProCam's $9.99. ProCam's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (35K vs 999). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Pro Camera is free to download; ProCam costs $9.99 up front. ProCam sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Pro Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ProCam holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProCam has 35K ratings behind it against 999, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 64% of ProCam's written reviews are positive against 53% of Pro Camera's.

ProCam ships an update every 6 days, Pro Camera every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
