# ProCam vs NOV Player

The clearest difference is price: NOV Player at Free against ProCam's $9.99. NOV Player also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9). ProCam's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (35K vs 4). On rating, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

NOV Player is free to download; ProCam costs $9.99 up front. ProCam sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. NOV Player asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for ProCam against 4.5 for NOV Player. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProCam has 35K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
