# MantisApp vs MantisBT Mobile

The clearest difference is update cadence: MantisBT Mobile at every 4 days against MantisApp's every 6 weeks. MantisApp's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MantisApp sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and MantisBT Mobile sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MantisApp ships an update every 6 weeks, MantisBT Mobile every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
