# Solitaire 7 vs Solitaire ▪

The clearest difference is rating: Solitaire ▪ at 4.7 against Solitaire 7's 3.7. Solitaire ▪ also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 16) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). Solitaire 7's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solitaire ▪ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Solitaire 7 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Solitaire ▪ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire ▪ has 1.8K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Solitaire 7's written reviews are positive against 73% of Solitaire ▪'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Solitaire 7 ships an update every 4 months, Solitaire ▪ every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
