# eGov vs goflash

The clearest difference is update cadence: goflash at every 2 weeks against eGov's every 3 months. eGov's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eGov sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and goflash sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

eGov ships an update every 3 months, goflash every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
