# Siddur vs TorahApp

The clearest difference is price: TorahApp at Free against Siddur's $5.99. TorahApp also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). Siddur's advantage is chart position (#142 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

TorahApp is free to download; Siddur costs $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TorahApp holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TorahApp has 130 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 69% of Siddur's written reviews are positive against 87% of TorahApp's.

Siddur ships an update every 3 months, TorahApp weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
