# Direct Ferries vs eviivo

The clearest difference is rating: Direct Ferries at 4.7 against eviivo's 3.3. Direct Ferries also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 14). eviivo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (40% vs 29%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Direct Ferries holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Direct Ferries has 1.5K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Direct Ferries's written reviews are positive against 40% of eviivo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Direct Ferries ships an update every 3 weeks, eviivo monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
