# UniCar vs Delancey

The clearest difference is update cadence: Delancey at every 2 weeks against UniCar's every 7 months. UniCar's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (577 vs 42). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UniCar holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniCar has 577 ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of UniCar's written reviews are positive against 67% of Delancey's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UniCar ships an update every 7 months, Delancey every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
