# Note Trainer Lite vs Christmas Carols+

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Note Trainer Lite at none against Christmas Carols+'s 17. Note Trainer Lite also leads on ratings volume (904 vs 4) and review sentiment (78% vs 60%). Christmas Carols+'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Christmas Carols+ sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Note Trainer Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Christmas Carols+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Note Trainer Lite's written reviews are positive against 60% of Christmas Carols+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
