# Xfinity Stream vs LiveViewGolf

The clearest difference is rating: Xfinity Stream at 4.6 against LiveViewGolf's 2.8. Xfinity Stream also leads on ratings volume (260K vs 20) and chart position (#133 vs unranked). LiveViewGolf's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Xfinity Stream holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xfinity Stream has 260K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Xfinity Stream's written reviews are positive against 33% of LiveViewGolf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Xfinity Stream ships an update every 2 months, LiveViewGolf monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
