# Nubo vs Deskware

The clearest difference is rating: Deskware at 4.4 against Nubo's 4.0. Deskware also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). Nubo's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Deskware holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Deskware has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Nubo's written reviews are positive against 83% of Deskware's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nubo ships an update monthly, Deskware every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
