# Emphasis vs Timella

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timella at every 3 days against Emphasis's fortnightly. Timella also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 84%). Emphasis's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emphasis sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and Timella sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Emphasis ships an update fortnightly, Timella every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
