# TodoMaps vs Mind Map

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mind Map at weekly against TodoMaps's monthly. Mind Map also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6). TodoMaps's advantage is ratings volume (54 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TodoMaps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mind Map sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mind Map holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TodoMaps has 54 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of TodoMaps's written reviews are positive against 80% of Mind Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TodoMaps ships an update monthly, Mind Map weekly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
