# Blur Wallpapers Pro vs Goodnotes

The clearest difference is rating: Goodnotes at 4.7 against Blur Wallpapers Pro's 4.1. Goodnotes also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (457K vs 115). Blur Wallpapers Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 20) and review sentiment (56% vs 34%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Goodnotes sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Blur Wallpapers Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Goodnotes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Goodnotes has 457K ratings behind it against 115, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Blur Wallpapers Pro's written reviews are positive against 34% of Goodnotes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blur Wallpapers Pro ships an update every 3 months, Goodnotes weekly. The most recent releases landed on August 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
