# WherestheMatch vs The 92

The clearest difference is rating: The 92 at 5.0 against WherestheMatch's 4.4. The 92 also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 56%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). WherestheMatch's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (38 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WherestheMatch sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and The 92 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The 92 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WherestheMatch has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 56% of WherestheMatch's written reviews are positive against 89% of The 92's.
