# VestMail vs BoskOTP

The clearest difference is rating: BoskOTP at 5.0 against VestMail's 1.8. BoskOTP also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). VestMail's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BoskOTP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VestMail has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VestMail ships an update every 5 months, BoskOTP every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
