# Epic Skater vs G

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: G at none against Epic Skater's 7. Epic Skater's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 55 months) and ratings volume (301 vs 73). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Epic Skater sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. G asks for nothing beyond the download.

G holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 301 and 73 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Epic Skater's written reviews are positive against 67% of G's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Epic Skater ships an update monthly, G every 55 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
