# ChatterPix Kids vs Explain Everything Whiteboard

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ChatterPix Kids at none against Explain Everything Whiteboard's 12. ChatterPix Kids also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 48%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). Explain Everything Whiteboard's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Explain Everything Whiteboard sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. ChatterPix Kids asks for nothing beyond the download.

Explain Everything Whiteboard holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Explain Everything Whiteboard has 8.9K ratings behind it against 664, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of ChatterPix Kids's written reviews are positive against 48% of Explain Everything Whiteboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
