# Vivint vs GSCC Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GSCC Connect at 100% against Vivint's 22%. GSCC Connect also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Vivint's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 18 months) and ratings volume (872K vs 14). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
