# Vivint vs CODCathedral

The clearest difference is rating: CODCathedral at 5.0 against Vivint's 4.6. CODCathedral also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Vivint's advantage is ratings volume (865K vs 1) and chart position (#204 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CODCathedral holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vivint has 865K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
