# Vivint vs FIRST ODESSA

The clearest difference is rating: FIRST ODESSA at 5.0 against Vivint's 4.6. FIRST ODESSA also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Vivint's advantage is ratings volume (873K vs 6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
