# RTM vs Swimmy

The clearest difference is rating: RTM at 5.0 against Swimmy's 1.6. RTM also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Swimmy's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 27%) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RTM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swimmy has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of RTM's written reviews are positive against 62% of Swimmy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
