# French Papers vs Canada Français

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Canada Français at 100% against French Papers's 50%. French Papers's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. French Papers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Canada Français sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

French Papers ships an update every 3 months, Canada Français every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
