# Flashcards with Cram vs Smart Flashcards!

The clearest difference is price: Flashcards with Cram at Free against Smart Flashcards!'s $0.99. Flashcards with Cram also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 18). Smart Flashcards!'s advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). On rating, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Flashcards with Cram is free to download; Smart Flashcards! costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flashcards with Cram holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashcards with Cram has 1.2K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Flashcards with Cram's written reviews are positive against 61% of Smart Flashcards!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flashcards with Cram ships an update monthly, Smart Flashcards! weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
