# BOHN vs Grit

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BOHN at none against Grit's 10. BOHN also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 26.0). Grit's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grit sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. BOHN asks for nothing beyond the download.

BOHN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grit has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BOHN ships an update every 3 months, Grit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
