# MTG Trades vs Elden Ring Map

The clearest difference is price: MTG Trades at Free against Elden Ring Map's $1.99. MTG Trades also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 12). Elden Ring Map's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

MTG Trades is free to download; Elden Ring Map costs $1.99 up front. MTG Trades sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Elden Ring Map sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MTG Trades holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MTG Trades has 1.1K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of MTG Trades's written reviews are positive against 67% of Elden Ring Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MTG Trades ships an update every 2 months, Elden Ring Map fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
